What is Impact Weekend?

If you’re familiar with the tradition “D-Now” or “Disciple Now” weekend, Impact Weekend is very similar. What makes it different is how many churches are involved. Around 20 churches come together during our worship and teaching times to pool our resources and connect with other local bodies. However, when it comes to our recreation time and where students stay, each individual church is responsible for those plans. At First Park, we have our students stay in a host home with 2 other adults sponsors on top of the hosts.

Cost: $50

Payment Methods:

  • Cash or Check – Submit through the church office or offering. Mark the envelope “Impact Weekend”

  • Online Payment – Through our giving form, select “youth” under the fund and type “Impact Weekend for [your students name].

  • If cost is an issue or concern, contact Jimmy.

What to Bring:

  • Bible
  • Pen/Pencil
  • Deodorant
  • Sunscreen
  • Tooth brush & Tooth paste
  • Shampoo/Body wash
  • Towel(s)
  • Pillow & Bedding/Sleeping Bag
  • Medications (must be checked in)

What NOT to Bring:

  • Gaming Devices
  • Laser Pointers
  • Face Coverings
  • Weapons (Including pocket knives)
  • Tobacco
  • Drugs & Alcohol
  • Vapes

Friday

5:15 PM – Check-In at Host Home
5:30 PM – Dinner at Host Home
6:50 PM – Arrive at First Southern
7:20 PM – Evening Service
8:30 PM – Head back to Host Homes
9:00 PM – Small Group Time
11:30 PM – Lights Out 

Sunday

8:45 AM – Breakfast at Church
11:30 AM – Go Home!

Saturday

8:30 AM – Eat Breakfast
10:00 AM – Activities
12:30 PM – Lunch & Surprises
3:00 PM – Meet at First Southern 
6:15 PM – Dinner at First Southern
7:15 PM – Evening Service
8:30 PM – Head back to Host Homes
9:00 PM – Small Group Time
11:30 PM – Lights Out
