What We're About

As part of the First Park family, we’re committed to equipping families to worship together and grow in their faith. We’re using a comprehensive approach to guide students to know God, be known by God, and make God known at home, at church, at school, and wherever else God takes them!

What to Expect:

  • Sunday Morning Small Groups – We all meet together in the youth room at 9am. While all in the same room, our groups are divided by gender and high school / middle school. We use the Gospel Project to guide our discussions which walks through the whole Bible every three years.

  • NextStep – As the name reveals, this is about taking the next step in their faith learning more about spiritual disciplines, specific topic studies, and theology. This happens from 5-6pm in the youth room.

  • Midweek – We meet at 6:30pm in the youth room year-round for midweek. During the school year, we offer a free dinner to families at 5:30pm. This time is more focused going verse by verse through Scripture or focusing deeply on a specific topic.

All of our meeting times are available to all youth. No matter where you are in your walk, each of these times is for you to know God more and be known by Him more.

Our Events

Impact Weekend

Mid-to-late February. Similar to what's known as a DNOW weekend, we partner with other churches in Eastern Oklahoma County to pool resources for speakers and bands.

Youth Choir Mission Trip

Late May to Late June. This is generally a week-long mission trip welcome to all of our youth. There is a special emphasis on leading worship

Falls Creek

Early-to-Mid July. This is one of our most popular events. We go to Falls Creek Youth Camp from Monday to Saturday. You have to try to be bored in order to actually be bored here. It's a great week of fellowship and spiritual growth.
